This may not be an FVWM-specific question, but then again, maybe it is!
:)
I just had to restart my X server because almost all the colors in the
default color map were reserved. I don't know what app was reserving
them. I exited all the ones I can think of: Netscape (which I run with
its own colormap anyway), Frame, Emacs, etc. All I had running were
FVWM and a bunch of xterms.
I wonder if FVWM wasn't holding all those colors? I don't have wildly
colorful pixmaps I don't think. Is there a colormap leak? I'm using
2.0p33 on SunOS 4.1.3_U1 running X11R5 p26 (no openwin!).
Any ideas? Are some apps known to leak colors? Is there any way I can
find out which apps have what colors reserved in the default color map?
xdpyinfo, xwininfo didn't seem to say much.
