I swithed to using a UTF-8 locale.
It works really nice in FVWM, but gtk (1.2)-based apps displays text as if
it were latin 1.
I set the locale in my .xsession like this:
export LANG=sv_SE.UTF-8
If I run "echo $LANG" in rxvt started from a menu in FVWM, it says
sv_SE.UTF-8 but if I start an rxvt from this rxvt and run the same command
it says:
sv_SE.ISO-8859-1
This is on RH 7.3
Anyone have an idea of what's going on?
By the way, rxvt still lacks UTF-8 support.
