I have been using one desk with 2x2 pages for years although fvwm-themes
always offered 4 desks as an option.
But then I got a persistent internet connection and a pretty big uptime
of my home machine, so I often have about 40 open windows at once.
There is a strong need for more pages. Now I want to actually have several
pages for one subject (like my work).
For several months now I use 4 desks, with 2x2 pages each, very handy.
Desk labels in the pager are helpful. A persistent 4-desk pager is not
so space consuming for a 1280x1024 screen.

Having a lot of windows (mainly terminals) is not trivial to handle.
WindowList SortByResource (this usually also sorts by a mini icon) may
help to find a window quickly. In case you can't spot it in the pager.
Regards,
Mikhael.
