Sorry about that. I'm using 2.4.6, and the patch applied out of the box
(apart from the non-cruical ChangeLog part).

It isn't a bit funny. It is exactly like the other GUI does it. And we
all know there's nothing funny about that. However, this is also
exactly how I want it, and I think it's perfectly logical that this is
the way it should be, for the very reason you stated.

I was using the example bindings from fvwm95, I guess that's what did
