It seems that FvwmAudio (that is a compatible mode in FvwmEvent) with a
non builtin-rplay player was always broken. In 2.2.x it didn't support
PlayCmd. In 2.4.x it supports it but in the way it does not really work.

I will fix this before 2.4.7, so your sample above works.
If you need this now, use FvwmEvent and "Cmd Exec" instead of "PlayCmd".

Probably esdplay works a bit smoother than play.
