Ok, I just tried the "ldconfig" command as root. It was running ok.
Also, my ld.so.conf has
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/kerberos/lib
/usr/lib
Afterwards I run ./configure and make (both as user and root). I get the
same error - can't find -lXext.
