FVWM: make error ?

Hi

I get this error when I try to make fvwm2.4.0 (Redhat 7.0):

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXext
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [fvwm2] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/alexis/down/fvwm2/fvwm-2.4.0/fvwm'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/alexis/down/fvwm2/fvwm-2.4.0'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
