Is this Sun's "mailtool" in /usr/openwin/bin?
If so, which Solaris release? I've never used it
before, but it seemed to default to starting iconic for me.
I couldn't reproduce the raise/lower symptoms.

You should tell us what focus commands you issued, but it sounds to
me like you need "SloppyFocus".

I use MouseFocus and the "Front" and "Open" keys all the time.

I'm not too familiar with Click-to-focus, but I just tried using it,
and my Front key binding seems to work. Its bound like this:

Key F15 FSTWI0123456789 N RaiseLower

The "Open" key does seem to present a problem.

I'm guessing a lot of people use MouseFocus because they find the
mouse pointer gets in the way. I find the "unclutter" program
the perfect cure for that.

Don't know.

If you find anything worth stealing, let us know. :)
