Near 2000, Craig Hutchison mumbled something about:

Call a UNIX command in your InitFunc.

AddToFunc InitFunc
 "I" A_Lot_Of_Other_Garbage_Perhaps_?
+ "I" Exec (xv -root -quit -max /home/somebody/image.gif &)
