Hi everybody,
I am faceing a problem similar to what Thomas Leitner reported
a few days back - a window doesn't get the sides, frame and title from
fvwm2. It comes up all right in mwm.
This is what FvwmIdentify returns about the window:
Name: Call for Meeting
Icon Name: Call for Meeting
Class: VendorShell
Resource: dialog
Window ID: 0x3000d8
Desk: 1
Width: 490
Height: 370
BoundaryWidth: 0
Sticky: No
Ontop: No
NoTitle: Yes
Iconified: No
Gravity: NorthWest
Geometry: 490x370+255+249
And this is what xwininfo returns:
Absolute upper-left X: 256
Absolute upper-left Y: 250
Relative upper-left X: 0
Relative upper-left Y: 0
Width: 490
Height: 370
Depth: 8
Visual Class: PseudoColor
Border width: 0
Class: InputOutput
Colormap: 0x21 (installed)
Bit Gravity State: ForgetGravity
Window Gravity State: NorthWestGravity
Backing Store State: NotUseful
Save Under State: no
Map State: IsViewable
Override Redirect State: no
Corners: +256+250 -406+250 -406-280 +256-280
-geometry 490x370+255+249
Unfortunately the solution that Thomas Leitner proposed doesn't
work here (i.e. turning off MWMDecor ).
anyone knows what the problem is ?
thanks,
sumeet
