FVWM: sun solaris 2.4 & 2 screens & 2.0.42

hello, I never tried fvwm on solaris before, but i built it, and it seems to run
in the background okay.
But it does not seem to manage the windows or put borders around them, Am I
doing something wrong,
or am I expecting too much of fvwm to manage a 2 screen sun sparc 5.
 Any advice/examples would be appreciated
