I have a few questions about the answers that have appeared in response to
this original post.
        First: can someone please tell me what this XMETER is? I am
running Linux, and use xload to show my system load, and am a bit confused
as to what xmeter is.
        Second: Can someone explain to me what multiple desktops (not
pages) are and how they work exactly. I too, have been awaiting the
implementation of StartsOnPage, but might find StartsOnDesk to be somewhat
helpful in the interim, if I knew what it was and how it worked.
