I have meta+<key> overrides in my .fvwmrc to do screen-shift stuff. I guess
thats pretty common.
However I am continually freaked by netscapes insistance on grabbing focus
when I do a "save to disk" form of URL download. That, and the non-grabbing
of focus into input fields on transitional popups. The screen shift META
stuff doesn't work until the mouse is re-shifted off the download info window.
This thing exposes how subjective focus is. Some windows which have little
or no feedback (eg ones with only a cancel button) should not grab focus.
Others, which you explicitly requested with intent of filling in fields should.
Is this an app bug, a runtime wm config bug, or an unrealistic expectation?
