At the risk of sounding sarcastic, that is the point of that
statement. The current beta versions are pretty stable for everyday
use, but there is still work to be done before I feel that it's ready
for "mass consumption".
So it's close and could theoretically be ready at any time, but since
work happens in my rather limited (almost mythical) "free time" I
don't know how long any given amount of work on fvwm will take.
My current rough timetable is to get one more beta (2.0.44) out within
the next few weeks, and then 2.1.0 out within a week or two after that.
But then, that is what I said before 2.0.43 came out... Things may
change again, but I'm going to try real hard to prevent that.
