FVWM: GL-windows resize

I'm running fvwm (.fvwm2rc resource file) on our SGIs and noticed that
we are unable to resize GL windows -- although everything seems to
work (moving, iconifying, etc. appear to work just fine).

Any suggestions on what is going wrong and how to fix it?

OpenGL apps doesn't have this problem. I suspect it's the GL window
management stuff that makes the hints to these sorts of windows
unknown to fvwm (??).
