FVWM: Compilinng problem in FVWM1.24

Dear Sir:
        I got a problem while compiling FVWM1.24. Below messgae popped
up.

gcc -O -I/usr/X11R4/usr/include -target sun4 -c windows.c
gcc: Program cc1 got fatal signal 6.
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `windows.o'

        There is no such probelm for other programs.
        Could you give me some idea about how to fix it?
