Linux isn't the only Unix-style OS with virtual consoles. There's
also FreeBSD, eSix, Interactive SVR4, and Solaris, to name a few. But
no other non-Intel based Unix that I know has it. Curious.

Anyone know what the deal is? Why haven't other vendors implemented
similar technology?
