Chuck, Romano takes the same approach to color reduction that my
program did, but he did a better job of it. I would suggest that you
only include Romano's version.
I don't think either of us has worked out what set of colors the xpms
should be reduced to using. If anyone else on the list has some good
ideas about how the subset of colors should be determined I know I
would be interested.
