I was able to find a solution in the manual for starting up a particular
window in a particular page. It works great, all I do is
Style *hunder* SkipMapping, StartsOnPage 2 2
However, what I want to now accomplish is to start up an app on the same
page that I start it with the menu.
Let me explain. I have a setup of 1 desktop with 9 pages arranged in a
box formation. If I am on page 1, I open up my menu and start an
application. Now I move to page 4. Because the application is still
starting up, the main window of the application starts up on page 4
(where I currently am).
Is it possible to make the application "remember" that it was started on
page 1 and open up there (in the background) and not come up annonyingly
on page 4?
I know that I can wait until the app starts up on page 1 etc, and I've
been living like that for a while now. Just curious if there is a way to
accomplish this in FVWM.
Thanks,
