I have a similar problem with FvwmIconMan. I have this:

*DesktopIconMan: action Mouse 3 N sendcommand
WindowMenuOrCloseIconMan

DestroyFunc WindowMenuOrCloseIconMan
AddToFunc WindowMenuOrCloseIconMan
+ I Menu WindowOpsSmall c+0 -101m
+ D Close

I have to triple click to close, but if I change it to '+ C Close', it
closes with a single click.
