Yes, reading it often helps. I am going to stick by the manpage
idea...manpages are much easier than info pages. Their navigation sucks
even with the use of: 'pinfo'.

No, I prefer manpages for all the reasons stated thus far. It won't be
changing and as Mikhael points out, is counter productive.
