  if ldd shows that the library is not found and you know that you have
given library installed (either you remember installing it or you used
find to find it), you can use LD_LIBRARY_PATH environmental variable to
make ld look for libraries in that directory (that's mostly to try stuff
out, for real solution you usually want to add the path to /etc/ld.conf
and run ldconfig (or just run ldconfig)).
